What’s R32 Refrigerant?
R32 is a next generation refrigerant that has efficient performance and lower environmental impact. R32 is known as difluoromethane and belongs to the HFC family of refrigerant. Its chemical formula is CH2F2.
LOW GWP(Global Warming Potential)
R32 has lower GWP (Global Warming Potential). As an illustration the GWP of R32 is 675 compared to R410A (GWP 2088); R407C (GWP 1774); R134A (GWP 1430).
Higher performance
R32 has similar working pressures as R410a but delivers slightly more capacity. It works 10% higher efficiency than R22, and at least 5% higher efficiency than existing R410A.
No extra cost
Besides, R32 is a single component refrigerant, meaning it is easier to reuse and recycle. It is also relatively inexpensive to produce, and easier to handle.
